Nokia 6300 Review

The 6300 is a sophisticated & stylish Nokia mobile phone which comes in an attractive stainless steel casing. The handset is stunning in looks which is packed full of fun & highly useable features for its user to enjoy. The handset comes in a curvaceous stainless steel casing with a glossy black section around the screen & on the reverse of the handset highlighting the camera features lens. The phone comes with a large 2 Inch screen which provides up to 16.7 million colours on a TFT QVGA type display. The Nokia 6300 comes with a highly useable & attractive stainless steel keypad. The navigation tool & quick access keys are set in a glossy black coated finish which ooze sophistication.

The handset comes with 7.8 Mbytes of built in memory & with a 128 Mbytes MicroSD™ memory card included with the phones start up kit. The mobile phones memory can be expanded up to 2 Gbytes using addition MicroSD™ memory cards. The Nokia 6300 weighs 91 grams in total which provides the user with a solid feel to their mobile handset without feeling heavy. The handset measures 106.4 mm x 43.6 mm x 11.7 mm which provides the user with a candy bar style mobile handset which is slim & fits in the users hand perfectly.

The built in 2 megapixel camera feature provides the user with the ideal imaging device on their mobile phone. The user can take photos, store photos, send & share photos from the mobile handset. The camera comes with a digital zoom which allows the user to get up close to their desired shot. The built in camera can be easily used for recording video which allows the user to capture their special moments in full colour action. The user can playback & stream video on their Nokia 6300.

The fully charged battery will provide up to 264 hours of standby battery time & up to 3.5 hours of talk time. The phone comes with Edge technology which provides a high speed data transfer for the user to enjoy. The built in Bluetooth® technology provides the user with a wireless connectivity option on their mobile phone which is compatible with other Bluetooth® devices. The 6300 comes with a USB connection which can connect to any USB compatible device. The Nokia 6300 comes with tri band technology which works over GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 which will switch between network bands automatically providing network coverage over the majority of the US & Europe. The phone comes with a Web browser which can view XHTML web sites for the user to access when they are away from the office.

The user can enjoy the freedom to change their ringing tones to suit their mood which can be heard in 64 voice polyphonic sound, MP3, MIDI & true tone ringing tones. The phone comes with a video ringing tone feature which allows the user to view images as well as listen to their ringing tones. The built in music player provides a fun entertainment feature which allows the user to listen to their music when ever they desire. The user can play music in MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, H263 & H264 formats. The user may need a change from their stored music & can therefore use the built in FM radio feature complete with visual radio which provides the user with music, chat show & news stations on their Nokia 6300.

The Nokia 6300 comes with simple to use messaging services which include instant messaging, audio messaging, multimedia messaging, text messaging & emails with attachments. The user can access their messaging services from the main menu & create messages with ease. The choice of messaging services will suit all users needs which can be sent & received to any compatible message service contact. The multimedia messaging service provides the user with a message which can contain text with video or photo & enhanced with sound, all in one easy to create message.

The mobile phone comes with a push to talk call feature which allows the user to have a call with other contacts by using a push to talk key to talk to others & then on releasing the key the user can hear their contacts talking back. The Nokia 6300 comes with a handsfree speaker feature which allows the user to take a call over the speaker system which leaves the user handsfree to get on with their work.

The built in phone book contains all the users contact details & the user can store up to one thousand contacts in the phone book. The 6300 has a organiser which comes complete with a calendar facility. The user can enjoy lively games with the preloaded Java™ games or download more games to suit their gaming requirements. The user can switch their phone to flight mode which allows the user to access certain phone features which will not affect equipment when in restricted areas such as in a hospital or on a flight.
